Cars on the street
- Continental Europe
May 15 - October 20
Just a pictorial list of some interesting cars we saw on the road in Europe. Rules: No used car lots, no junkyards, no rallys or car cruises, just drivers.

Alpha Romeo 2000GT - Dusseldorf, Germany.
We saw about a dozen 2000s total.

BMW 507 - Austria.

BMW M3 - Andorra.

Chevy Caprice - Offemont, France.

Chevrolet Corvette, Hielbronn, Germany.

Citroen 2CV - Germany.
These are still fairly common all over western Europe and England.

Citroen Ami - Barcelona.

Citroen GX - Heemskerk, The Netherlands.

Citroen Traction Avant - France.

Dacia - Bratislava.
Fairly common in Slovakia.

Fiat 500 - Paris.
Fairly common in some areas of France.

Fiat - Salzburg.
We've seen a couple dozen of these, without the crease.

1964 Ford Galaxie - Amsterdam.

Gaz - Hungary.
A Russian car.

Jaguar XKE - West Veletrern, Belgium.
Only saw a couple of these.

Lada - Bratislava.
Running (or crawling) all over Slovakia.

Lada Samara - Pecs, Hungary.
Looks fairly new.

Lada Samara - Pecs, Hungary.
Maybe they're still building Ladas somewhere in Hungary?

Lancia Fulvia - Edam, The Netherlands.

Landia Fulvia Sport - Brugge, Belgium.
Saw this car for 3 days and couldn't get a view of the front end.

Ligier - Berlin.
Not the only one we saw with 30KPH stickers. That may not be a joke.

1954 Mercury - Austria.

MGB - Vienna.
We've seen more in England but this was the only one on the continent.

Morgan - Switzerland.
Saw about 6 Morgans.

Opel - Vienna.
Looks like a stubby Ford Torino.

1939 Peugeot 202 - France.

Peugeot 304 - St. Marie Eglise, France.

Peugeot 404 - France.

Polski Fiat - Hungary.
Saw a couple dozen of these.

Renault Alpine - Haushaum, Germany.

Renault R4 - Switzerland.
Saw dozens of these, even saw one on a stage rally.

Rover 3500 - Saarbrucken, Germany.

Saab 93 - Dusseldorf, Germany.
Only Saab of that era we saw.

Skoda - Bratislava.
Lots of these running around.

Skoda S110R - Budapest.

Sunbeam - Normandy.
We saw this car many times in one day near the D-Day beaches.

Trabant - Budapest, Hungary.
They are all over Germany, Austria, and Hungary. Some in France.
The body of recycled plastic may be one reason they're still around.

Vauxhall - Lisbon.

Volvo 122S - Antwerp.
Saw another in Cologne.

VW - St. Marie Aux Mines, France.
Ford, VW, and many more make pickup-based vans. Good idea.

We think this is a Ford - Luxembourg.
